Our pack is sponsored by the Falmouth Congregational Church, 267 Falmouth Road. We meet as a pack on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Church's Bienema Hall. See Pack 36 Announcements, below, for news and information about upcoming Pack events. If you are interested in joining Scouting in Falmouth, please contact our Cubmaster, Ken Macgowan.
Please make use of this website to review upcoming events and current announcements, download the current Pack newsletter, find information about your Den, access scouting forms and search useful scouting links.
The traditional February pack meeting, the Blue and Gold banquet, will be held at the church hall on Tuesday, February 9th, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm (please arrive at 5:45 with prepared food). This banquet signifies the end of one scouting year and the beginning of another. Meetings, activities and events continue as usual until the summer break, but all qualifying dens/scouts advance in rank. It is at this banquet that the current Webelos II scouts receive their Arrow of Light award and cross over to Boy Scouts in a short ceremony. It's a fun family evening with good food and a chance to celebrate the accomplishments of all the scouts, so please plan to come!
Please note that Den Leaders will be contacting their dens to let them know what they can bring.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Popcorn Sales. Total Sales were $13,570 (twice what we sold last year). The top 5 sellers were: Alex and Ryan Lewis $4,741, Trent Macgowan $1,751, Peter and Andrew Morrissette $995, Daniel Terison $748 and Nicholas Shapiro $603. Great Job!!
The Pack positions of Badgemaster and Assistant Pack Committee Chair need to be filled in order to continue providing the scouting experience to our Cubs! Two Den Leaders (one Tiger Cub and one Wolf) are also needed for this year. Please consider volunteering your time to this fun and worthwhile organization. Feel free to contact our Cubmaster, Ken Macgowan, or the incumbent volunteer (see the Contacts page) for information about any of these positions.
These shirts are intended to be worn as an alternative to the cub scout uniform at public group outings. If you'd like to purchase a t-shirt ($10.00 each) for your scout, see your den leader or contact Ken Macgowan.
Has your son outgrown his uniform? Pack 36 has a "hand me down" program. Contact Kaye Macgowan, Den 1, for more information.
Does your Den have information or pictures to share with the Pack? ...People you would like to thank? ...Projects you want to brag about? If so, contact Kaye Macgowan by the Friday before a Pack meeting for inclusion in the monthly Pack newsletter. Information for inclusion on this website can be forwarded directly to webmaster@falmouthpack36.org.
